3月22日，由坦桑尼亚驻广州总领事哈提布·马肯格带队商贸团一行抵达深圳，在龙华区富润通科技数字化生产基地亲切座谈交流，双方对“设立坦桑尼亚驻深展示窗口、帮助坦桑尼亚在国内对接优质货源、协助坦桑尼亚智慧农业、智慧港口和智慧开发区规划设计建设”及贸易、投资、产业落地等方面合作进行了探讨。
A business delegation led by his honorable Khatibu Makenga, Consul General of Tanzania in Guangzhou, arrived in Shenzhen on March 22nd and had a friendly discussion and exchange with Furunton Technology on the latter’s Digital Production Base in Longhua District, when the two sides explored cooperation potentials in different areas including establishing a Tanzanian showroom in Shenzhen, helping Tanzania connect with high-quality domestic sources, assisting the country’s planning, design and construction of smart agriculture, smart ports, and smart development zones, as well as trade, investment, and industrial cooperation.

The Tanzanian business delegation first visited the Furunton Technology PCBA Digital Intelligent Manufacturing Base, and was impressed by Furunton Technology’s long-term focus on R&D and manufacturing of electronic hardware products, especially their independent development of various algorithms supporting related IoT terminals with rich application scenarios in various areas including forest fire prevention, hydrological monitoring, urban security, and smart transportation, etc. Additionally, the Tanzanian guests also highly praised Furunton’s new generation of smart industrial IoT SaaS cloud platform, which can empower various fields across industries, such as the chemical industry, clothing, electronics, new energy equipment, and more.
座谈会由坦桑尼亚驻广州总领事馆贸易投资促进专员苏芳女士主持，坦桑尼亚驻广州总领事哈提布·马肯格等多位商贸团代表先后提出了合作的设想和热忱的邀请，认为一方面坦桑尼亚可以发挥非洲与中国之间投资、贸易、产业合作的重要基地和桥梁作用，让更多优质的“中国智造”在非洲市场流通，同时中国的先进技术也能够帮助非洲许多包括基础设施建设、传统行业升级等，本次商贸团也希望能够在农业、服装、机械等相关领域寻找合适的货源。
The discussion was presided over by Ms. Su Fang, Asst. Officer for Trade and Investment Promotion of the Consulate General of Tanzania in Guangzhou. During the meeting, representatives of the Tanzanian delegation put forward proposals for cooperation and extended a cordial invitation to Chinese businesses. They highlighted Tanzania’s potential as an important base and bridge for investment, trade, and industrial cooperation between Africa and China, and emphasized the opportunities for Chinese businesses to market more high-quality “China intelligent manufacturing” products in the African market. The delegation also expressed interest in exploring opportunities for cooperation in areas such as agriculture, clothing, and machinery, and underlined the potentials for China’s advanced technologies to assist Africa in infrastructure construction and traditional industry upgrading.
本次商贸团中也包括坦桑尼亚投资中心、桑给巴尔投资贸易促进署、贸易发展局、出口加工区管理局、中坦国家工业园、国家小额信贷银行的主要负责人，非常欢迎中国优秀企业在坦桑尼亚投资和贸易发展，可以将一些生产制造环节比如生产、组装等落户在坦桑尼亚实施，坦桑尼亚通过国家小额信贷银行和中国工商银行、中国银行等大型金融机构的合作，也将为中国企业的业务发展提供充分的支持。
The delegation was comprised of key officials from Tanzania Investment Center (TIC), Zanzibar Investment Promotion Authority (ZIPA), Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TanTrade), Export Processing Zone Authority (EPZA), Sino-Tan National Industrial Park, and National Microfinance Bank (NMB). They extended a warm welcome to Chinese enterprises to invest and trade in Tanzania. They recommended that some processes, like part of the production and assembly, could be carried out in Tanzania, and the country would provide ample support for the related business development of Chinese enterprises through the collaboration with large financial institutions such as the NMB, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, and Bank of China.
